1 person dead after a motorcycle collision on the North Side (San Antonio, TX)

One person was killed after a head-on crash Thursday on the North Side.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle accident took place just before 4 a.m. at the intersection of Probandt Street and W. Mitchell Street. The preliminary reports showed that the man on the motorcycle made a right turn onto W. Mitchell Street when the incident occurred.

The motorcyclist sustained severe head injuries and a partial leg amputation. He was declared dead at the scene the officials. The driver of the pickup truck mentioned that she did not see the man since the road and the motorcycle were both really dark. According to the authorities, no charges are pending. No other information is available.

The incident remains under review.
