1 person dead after a motorcycle collision in Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV)

One person was killed after a suspected DUI crash Saturday in Las Vegas.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle collision took place at about 7:15 p.m. on North Rancho Drive near West Turquoise Road. The early preliminary reports showed that a northbound pickup truck struck a southbound motorcycle at the intersection.

The incident reportedly happened when the pickup turned left and hit the motorcycle, and then collided with a stopped car. The pickup driver tried to escape, but authorities arrested the suspect. The suspect displayed signs of impairment. Police booked him in Clark County Detention Center on DUI and hit-and-run charges. No other information is available.

The incident remains under review.
