1 person dead after a motorcycle collision in Escondido (Escondido, CA)

One person was killed after a traffic collision early Monday morning in Escondido.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place at around 1:20 a.m. in the area of East 17th Avenue and Encino Drive. The early reports showed that the rider lost control of the motorbike, and it hit a sidewalk and a pole.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time. No further information is available.

The accident remains under investigation.
