Groves Police responded to a Sunday motorcycle crash on Highway 73 in Groves that critically injured a person.
According to Groves Police Chief Deputy Kirk Rice, the motorcyclist lost control when he was driving down Highway 73 westbound at 39th Street.
The motorcyclist fell off and suffered severe head trains.
He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
The driver flew about 100 feet, said the Chief.
The Texas Department of Public Safety, Port Neches Police, and Nederland Police assisted the Groves officers.
The crash is being investigated further.
