A woman lost her life following a two-vehicle accident Friday night in Glendale.
As per the initial information, the fatal bicycle crash took place near 67th Avenue and Bell Road. The early reports suggested that the bicyclist was crossing 67th Avenue south of Bell Road when she was struck by a motorist. The vehicle involved in the collision stayed at the scene.
Speed and impairment are not believed to be involved in this accident. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. Authorities have not provided any further details regarding the incident.
An investigation is underway.
