Woman killed after a two-vehicle accident in southwest Houston (Houston, TX)

On Sunday night, a woman lost her life following a two-vehicle collision in southwest Houston.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place at around 7:30 p.m. on the 6400 block of Hillcroft. The early reports showed that a Toyota Camry was crossing the intersection when it crashed into a Ford Explorer for undetermined reasons.

On arrival, paramedics transported the driver of the Camry to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The 50-year-old female passenger succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The driver of the Explorer was also transported to the hospital in unknown condition. No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
