Woman injured following an auto-pedestrian collision in Fort Bragg (Fort Bragg, CA)

A woman received injuries after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday night in Fort Bragg.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place at around 6:52 a.m. on State Route 20 and Benson Lane. The early reports showed that a truck struck a woman for reasons that are yet to be known. The woman remained responsive but was lying on the road.

She sustained minor to moderate injuries. It is unknown if the driver involved remained at the scene or not after the accident. It is also unclear if impairment played a part in the collision. No other details have been provided by the authorities.

An investigation is ongoing.
