On Sunday morning, a woman suffered injuries after a street racing crash on the highway in North San Antonio.
As per the initial information, the traffic accident took place at about 1:00 a.m. in the 7000 Block of U.S. Highway 281 N. The preliminary reports showed that three vehicles were racing while traveling northbound when one of the vehicles swerved into the “non-racing drivers’” lane, causing the female driver to lose control. The vehicle reportedly came to a stop onto a grassy area.
The woman had a right ankle and left elbow injury, but her injuries were considered non-life-threatening. When located, officers say the suspects will be charged for Racing on the Highway. No other details are made available.
The crash remains under investigation.
