On early Saturday morning, a woman suffered serious injuries after she was struck by a vehicle near the Domain.
As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place at Burnet Road and Esperanza Crossing at 2:56 a.m. in Austin. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit a female pedestrian for reasons that are yet to be known.
On arrival, emergency crews transported the adult woman to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the involved vehicle reportedly remained at the scene after the collision. No other details are immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.
