Woman hospitalized after a vehicle slammed into a home in east Kennewick; Jeromy Lamm arrested (Kennewick, WA)

On Monday evening, a suspected drunk driver crashed into a home and injured a woman inside in east Kennewick.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place at around 5:30 PM in the area of 3rd Avenue and Gum Street. The early reports showed that a man driving a car plowed into the front of the home and badly damaged the structure. A woman in the living room area of the house suffered injuries.

On arrival, emergency crews transported her to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver, Jeromy Lamm, was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The man was also booked into the Benton County Jail for suspicion of three counts reckless endangerment because there were three children in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Officials said that the children were between the ages of 8 and 3 years-old. Medics evaluated the children for injuries before family members arrived at the scene to take the children with them. No further details were provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
