Woman hospitalized after a traffic collision near downtown (San Antonio, TX)

A woman received injuries after a traffic collision late Wednesday night in downtown.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at Indianola and East Cesar E Chavez. The preliminary reports showed that a vehicle collided with a bus and then struck a pole. The San Antonio Police Department and the San Antonio Fire Department responded to the crash site.

The driver of that car was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Officials believe that the driver might have had a medical episode at the time of the accident. A bus driver stated a car hit the bus, but did not damage it. The bus driver drove down the street to call his supervisor when he noticed the car that hit him had slammed into a pole. No other information is available.

An investigation is ongoing.
