A woman was hospitalized after a crash Tuesday morning in Longview.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place at TX-281 and Judson Rd. The early reports showed that a woman was driving a pickup when she suffered a medical emergency. On arrival, first responders utilized the Jaws of Life to extricate a woman from her truck by prying open the door.
According to the authorities, the woman was having a medical emergency when the wrecks happened. The woman freed from the truck was also involved in another wreck at Hollybrook Dr. and Judson Rd.
The reports revealed that she drove through a light at the Hollybrook Dr. and Judson Rd. intersection and then ran a second light at the TX-281 intersection with Judson Rd. The woman was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
One eastbound lane of TX-281 was closed during the investigation and cleanup. The wrecks were cleared by 1 p.m. No other details are available.
The incident remains under investigation.
