According to the police, a pedestrian accident was reported on Sunday night in The Woodlands.
The officials stated that a female victim was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound on FM 2978.
The incident was reported at around 8:15 p.m. when the victim was leaving her job at Gringo’s Mexican Restaurant and was hit by a Ford Fusion.
The officials stated that life-saving measures were attempted by Magnolia firefighters and paramedics on the victim but she dies at the scene due to her injuries.
The female driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigations.
The officials stated that no signs of impairment were reported.
The identity of the deceased victim is awaited by the officials.
