A woman lost her life and several others were injured following a multi-vehicle accident Wednesday in Glendale.
As per the initial information, the four-vehicle pile-up took place just before 7 a.m. The early reports showed that a Nissan Altima, Jeep Grand Cherokee, a motorcycle and a Chevy Equinox were involved in the wreck. The early reports showed that a Nissan Altima was traveling northwest on Grand Avenue near Myrtle Avenue when it collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Two other vehicles became involved in the crash, including a motorcycle and a Chevy Equinox. A woman riding in the backseat of the Altima was declared dead at the scene. The motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
Four other people who were involved in the accident had non-life-threatening injuries. It is unknown if speed and impairment were involved in the collision. Grand Avenue was blocked in both directions at Myrtle Avenue while crews worked at the scene. No other information is available.
The wreck remains under active review.
