A woman lost her life after getting hit by a vehicle Sunday in the Green Meadows area of South Los Angeles.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place just before 11 p.m. Sunday at 105th Street and Avalon Boulevard. The female was declared dead at the scene by the officials. Officers mentioned that speed possible played a part in the accident.
A vehicle was impounded but, no crime was committed because all of the involved people stayed at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No further details are available.
The incident remains under review.
