The Texas Department Of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle accident in Big Spring on Friday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was identified as 22-year-old Vernon Brady Doggett of Moran.
Around Friday night the crash happened in a two-vehicle wreck 20 miles west of Big Spring on State Highway 350, when a 33-year-old Glendale, Arizona man was travelling north in a tractor-trailer when he veered into the southbound lanes for unknown reasons and hit Doggett, who was driving a Ford F-150.
Doggett, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The events leading to the collision are not yet known. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
