Vehicle knocks down a light pole on Sahara Avenue, causes a second crash (Las Vegas, NV)

A car slammed into a light pole on a busy Las Vegas street Monday morning, taking it down and causing a second crash.

As per the initial information, the traffic collision was reported around 5:41 a.m. on Sahara Avenue near Valley View Boulevard. The incident did not reportedly cause any serious injuries. The second collision took place because of the debris on the roadway.

The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. Sahara is expected to reopen later in the morning. Police are conducting an impairment investigation. No further details have been provided by the authorities.

An investigation is underway.
