A vehicle went off the I-5 freeway down into an embankment in Castaic Saturday, leaving at least one person in the hospital.
At about 1:40 p.m. Saturday, first responders got information of a traffic collision on the I-5 freeway just north of Lake Hughes Road in Castaic, said Dispatch Supervisor Bernard Peters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The vehicle was reported to have plunged down an embankment off the I-5 freeway, Peters said. On arrival, medics transported one person to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The crash is under review.
