On Saturday morning, two people suffered injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 10.
The Whitewater incident took place at about 8:18 a.m. on May 15, near the Whitewater rest stop. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the wreck involved two vehicles, but the circumstances resulting in this incident remain under review. On arrival, emergency personnel transported two people to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries. Authorities have not released any other information is available about the crash at this time.
An investigation is ongoing at this time.
