Two teens hospitalized after a rollover accident near Lake Travis (Austin, TX)

Two teens were hospitalized after a traffic accident near Lake Travis.

As per the initial information, the rollover crash took place in the area near 2400 N. FM 620. The crews responded to the scene and, on arrival, found three patients. One teen was airlifted by STAR Flight after likely being thrown from the rolled vehicle. One other, a teen, was rushed to St. David’s in Round Rock with “potentially serious injuries.” The third refused to be taken to the hospital.

EMS originally stated there are reports of three other people involved who left the scene. They later said that there were a total of 3 patients, and all were accounted for. Officials urged drivers to avoid the area and expect delays. FM 620 was shut down in both directions at Fontaine Avenue, west of Mansfield Dam while crews worked at the scene. No other details are available.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
