The Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a fiery car crash on US 180 in Fisher County that killed two students from Synder.
The victims who died in the crash were identified as Zavier Jakob Dominguez, 17, and Armando Carrillo, 14.
According to the authorities, Dominguez was driving east down the highway when he traveled off the center line and struck an SUV traveling west.
Both vehicles were engulfed in flames following the head-on collision.
An investigation into the crash is under review.
It is not clear if anyone else was injured.
