Two people injured after a three-vehicle accident near Alicia Parkway and Jeronimo Road (Mission Viejo, CA)

Two people were injured following a wreck Monday morning near Alicia Parkway and Jeronimo Road.

As per the initial information, the three-vehicle pile-up took place near Alicia Parkway and Jeronimo Road in Mission Viejo at about 8:40 a.m. The preliminary reports showed that three vehicles, including an Orange County Transportation Authority bus, crashed for undetermined reasons.

The reports also revealed that an SUV ended up on it roof due to the impact. Two people received injuries as a result of the accident. One person was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Authorities believe that speed might have contributed to the crash. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
