Two people hospitalized after a solo-vehicle crash in west Houston (Houston, TX)

A man and a woman were hospitalized after a traffic collision Friday night in west Houston.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place in the 9800 block of Richmond Avenue. The early reports showed that a man and a woman were traveling on the roadway in the 9800 block of Richmond Avenue. At some point of time, the vehicle the pair was in crashed into a tree.

The two occupants were reportedly trapped between a vehicle and a tree. On arrival, emergency responders rescued and transported the two individuals to area hospitals and are expected to be OK. The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time. No other details are available.

The incident remains under review.
