According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a fatal crash was reported on Monday afternoon in Montgomery County. Officials confirmed that two people died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on FM 1314 at Northgate Lane. The driver of a Toyota was going northbound when he suddenly crossed into the southbound lanes.
A 63-year-old man driving a Ford-150 was traveling in the southbound lane at the same period of time. The Ford struck the Toyota head-on.
The driver and passenger inside the Toyota were pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The driver of the Ford was transported to HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood sustaining injuries. Their identities are not yet known at this time.
The crash continues to be investigated by the TDPS.
