A chain reaction crash occurred due to presence of a cow in the middle of a far south side road on late Sunday night. Moreover, investigators reported that just before midnight, a pickup truck driving on U.S. Highway 281 south near Martinez Losoya Road hit the cow.
Consequently, another driver lost balance and their car rolled over. Later, medics transported the driver to University Hospital with critical injuries.
Additionally, paramedics treated the driver of the pickup truck at the scene for their injuries.
Also, an investigation is ongoing.
