Traffic impacted following a three-vehicle wreck in Seattle (Seattle, WA)

On Wednesday morning, a multi-vehicle accident led to traffic delays in Seattle.

As per the initial information, the three-vehicle wreck was reported a little before 10 a.m. on State Route 520 floating bridge approximately midway across the bridge. The early reports showed that one of the three vehicles caught fire following the crash. At this time, it is unknown if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the collision.

All westbound lanes of SR 520 Bridge were shut down as of 10:25 a.m. as crews worked at the scene, but vehicles were getting by on the right shoulder. Drivers were asked to avoid the area and adopt alternate routes. Multiple agencies responded to the scene. No other details are immediately available.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
