Traffic impacted after a tanker truck crash on I-75 in Kennesaw (Kennesaw, GA)

A wreck involving a tanker truck led to major traffic delays Wednesday morning in Kennesaw.

As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place on Interstate 75 northbound at Wade Green Road. The early reports showed that a truck struck an Amazon truck form behind. Due to the crash, the tanker truck was leaking fluid which caused traffic issues in the area.

It is unknown if the incident caused any injuries. Two lanes were blocked during the cleanup. As of now, it is unclear what that fluid actually is. Officials urged motorists to take Cobb Parkway as an alternate. No further details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
