3 people were hospitalized after a traffic collision in The Woodlands.
As per the initial information, The Woodlands Fire Department along with Montgomery County Hospital District and Needham Fire & Rescue/Montgomery County ESD#4 actively responded to the intersection of I-45 and Highway 242 after getting reports of a two-vehicle accident at 1:40 pm with possible entrapment.
On arrival, emergency responders found three people pinned inside a vehicle on its side in the intersection. After stabilizing the vehicle, firefighters were able to quickly free all 3 occupants. MCHD transported three patients to area hospitals, all with non-critical injuries. Two other people involved in the accident were evaluated and released at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear.
The accident remains under review.
