One person sustained injuries following a wreck Thursday evening near southwest Austin.
As per the initial information, the multi-vehicle accident took place just before 6:45 p.m. on Southwest Parkway at Travis Cook Road. Officials stated that a total of seven people were involved with a teenager being rushed to a hospital with “potentially serious, non-life-threatening injuries.”
STAR Flight also responded to the scene. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identity of the injured victim has not been disclosed. Authorities have not provided any further details regarding the crash.
An investigation is underway.
