Two people sustained injuries in an SUV vs. motorcycle crash on Herndon Avenue and Thompson Avenue on Saturday night.
Officers arrived at the crash scene shortly after 6:33 p.m. As per reports, a motorcyclist did not notice the traffic slowing down in front of him and crashed into a GMC Yukon. The impact ejected both a man and a woman from the motorcycle.
An off-duty nurse in a car behind the motorcycle started resuscitation on the female rider. On arrival, paramedics rushed both man and woman to the hospital with critical injuries and the woman was listed in critical condition. Authorities did not reveal the identities of the victims at this time. The Yukon driver did not suffer any injuries.
An investigation is underway.
