On Sunday, several people suffered injuries following a traffic collision in the Baytown area.
As per the initial information, the multi-vehicle wreck was reported at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the 8200 block of Wade Road, which is just north of I-10 between Beltway 8 and the Grand Parkway. On arrival, emergency crews airlifted one person to an area hospital while several victims were transported to hospital through ambulance.
Several victims were ejected from the vehicles as a result of the crash. According to the authorities, one person was pinned inside a vehicle. The events that have led up to the crash remain unclear at this time. The identities of the victims have not been revealed. No other details are made available.
