According to the Wharton Police Department, a motor vehicle crash took place on Tuesday.
The officials reported that a Wharton County constable was rushed to the hospital following the crash.
The crash occurred near U.S 59 and Caroll Road.
The officials stated that Robert Holder, the constable was taken to Houston Hospital.
A truck hit the victim from behind. The other driver was also rushed to the Houston Hospital.
The condition of the victims was not revealed by the officials.
The officials released no additional information regarding the cause of the crash.
The identity of the other victims remains unknown at the moment.
