A 60-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash in Sun Valley this past Friday, Feb. 26th. According to the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department), a 2001 Toyota Camry had struck the woman travelling on Glenoaks Boulevard north of Vinedale Street.

The victim struck by the Camry was crossing outside of the marked crosswalk, landed in the roadway, and was struck again by two(2) additional vehicles. Fortunately, the driver of the 2001 Camry immediately stopped and remained at the scene.

However, the two other vehicles involved fled the scene and were described as a dark Sport Utility Vehicle and dark gray SUV.  LAPD has issued a reward of up to $50,000 which is available to the community for any information that may lead to the capture and arrest of these hit and run drivers.
