The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Cobb County.
The accident occurred at the RiverVue Apartments in Vining, located at 4545 River Parkway.
At the complex’s gate, police made an attempt to stop the suspect’s vehicle after spotting them.
Instead, the criminal struck two police vehicles and fled on Cobb Parkway.
On Cumberland Boulevard close to Interstate 75, another officer used a pit maneuver to subdue the suspect.
Two suspects who were recognized as the getaway car’s driver and passenger were detained.
According to the police, two more suspects are on the run.
That policeman suffered a knee injury and was treated at a nearby hospital.
A suspect was being followed by canines that were on the scene.
