Police are seeking a suspected driver involved in a hit-and-run accident in Issaquah, causing critical injuries to a pedestrian.
The incident took place near Front St. S. and Second Ave. in Issaquah at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
An Issaquah police official said that a man in his 40s or 50s along with his spouse was walking along a sidewalk in the area when a driver, driving rashly, struck the man.
On arrival, emergency crews found the victim found fainted, but breathing. Afterwards, medics admitted the victim to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
The suspect left the vehicle at a location a couple of blocks away from the incident and escaped. Police are actively searching to find the suspected driver.
Moreover, authorities describe the suspect as a 6-foot, 250 pounds, and white male with a yellow reflective jacket, blue jeans, baseball hat, and green backpack on.
Also, officials have reduced the traffic in the area to one lane for investigation.
