A woman lost her life after a PG&E Vehicle struck her on East Pacheco Boulevard on Thursday.
The incident occurred at 6:14 a.m. at the intersection of Mercey Springs Road. As per reports, the adult female pedestrian was crossing the intersection in a southbound direction outside of the marked crosswalk. An eastbound PG&E Ford pickup truck hit her on a green light at an unknown speed in the number one lane as a result of which she died.
The truck driver cooperated with police and drugs or alcohol did not seem to be a factor in the accident. As of now, police did not release the name of the victim and the driver involved in the collision.
The crash is under investigation.
