On Sunday morning, one person was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Austin.
As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run crash took place at the intersection of East Ben White Boulevard and Alvin Devane Boulevard at about 7 a.m. The early reports showed that a vehicle struck a pedestrian for reasons that are yet to be known.
The driver of the involved vehicle reportedly fled the scene after the collision. No arrests have been made at this time. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are made available.
