Pedestrian hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on the Northwest Side (San Antonio, TX)

A pedestrian suffered injuries after getting hit by a vehicle Wednesday on the Northwest Side.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run accident took place just after 11 p.m. on UTSA Boulevard near Interstate 10. The preliminary reports showed that the driver lost control and struck someone walking on the sidewalk before leaving the scene.

The victim had a broken leg and was transported to the hospital. Authorities are working to identify the driver who struck the pedestrian. The identity of the victim has not been released at this time. No other information is available.

The incident remains under active review.
