The Albuquerque Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Wednesday night in northern Albuquerque. The accident happened at San Mateo Boulevard and Lomas Boulevard.
According to APD, a pedestrian was injured in the collision and taken to the hospital, but they later passed away from the injuries.
The APD Motors Unit is conducting an investigation while the intersection is closed. The names and identities of the victims have not been made public yet. Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found.
The fatal collision is still being investigated by the officials. Additional information regarding the crash site has yet to be available currently.
