As per the initial information, the fatal pedestrian crash was first reported just after 3:30 a.m. near the Cloverfield Boulevard on-ramp of the 10 FWY. The early reports showed that a motorcyclist hit a pedestrian who was on the road.
One person was declared dead at the scene by the responding officers. Investigators later revealed that the deceased person was the pedestrian, who was reportedly trying to cross the freeway on foot. Officials believe that other drivers also struck the pedestrian’s body, but stayed at the scene.
