On Saturday evening, a fatal crash claimed life of a person on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Inglewood, blocking traffic in the area.
The crash was reported at around 8:30 p.m. on the southbound San Diego Freeway west of Arbor Vitae Street, according to the CHP. The victim died on the scene as a result of the crash. Authorities issued a SigAlert at 8:53 p.m. closing down all southbound lanes around Arbor Vitae Street, creating traffic near Los Angeles International Airport.
An investigation is underway.
