One person killed following an auto-pedestrian collision in Wyoming (Wyoming, MI)

One person was killed after getting hit by a semi-truck Monday in Wyoming.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place at about 8 p.m. at the intersection of 54th Street and Division Avenue. The early reports showed that a car-hauler semi-truck heading eastbound on 54th Street struck a pedestrian crossing the street at the crosswalk.

The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene by the officials. It is unknown if the involved vehicle remained at the scene or not after the incident. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details were provided.

The crash remains under review.
