One person was killed and another received serious injuries after an early morning crash at a busy Sparks intersection.
As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle collision was reported just after 6 a.m. near the intersection of Vista Blvd. and Peppergrass Drive. The early reports showed that two cars were involved in the accident. A third person was provided medical aid and released at the scene.
Northbound Vista was closed at Vista Del Rancho and southbound Vista was blocked at Wingfield Hills Road until around 12:15 p.m. Officers believe that icy roads and winter weather possibly contributed to the crash. No other information is available.
An investigation is underway.
