One person injured in a crash involving two big rigs on I-35 in Georgetown (Georgetown, TX)

At about 2 a.m. Thursday, one person sustained injuries following a crash involving two semi-trucks on I-35 in Georgetown, leading to the closure of the northbound lanes at SH 29.

Traffic was rerouted to the frontage road at exit 261. Police mention that one driver was unharmed and the other was transported to Seton Williamson County for injuries suffered in the collision. Crews were working at the scene and advised drivers to avoid the affected area if possible. Authorities have not provided any further information about the crash. The current condition and the identity of the injured person remain unknown at this time.
