One person hurt after a hit-and-run accident in Green Valley (Green Valley, AZ)

One person was hurt after a two-vehicle crash late Saturday in Green Valley.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run accident took place at around 10:10 p.m. on Abrego Drive, just south of Nogales Highway. The early reports showed that one car ended up in a drainage ditch while the other fled the scene.

On arrival, emergency responders removed a Green Valley driver from the vehicle, which was unstable because of how it landed in the ditch.  The motorist, who was wearing seat belt and whose air bags deployed, incurred only minimal injuries. The second vehicle left the scene before the arrival of responders. No other details are available.
