One person received injuries following a wrong-way collision early Sunday in Henderson while officials arrested a motorist on multiple charges.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at around 6:30 AM Sunday near the US95, south of Auto Show Dr. According to Nevada State Police, troopers received information of a wrong-way driver in the area. On arrival, a GMC was witnessed driving southbound in the northbound travel lane.
After that, the GMC crashed into a Dodge SUV before coming to a rest. The driver of the Dodge was taken to UMC with non-life-threatening injuries. Nevada State Police detained the driver of the GMC for suspicion of impairment and other charges. No other details were provided.
