One person hospitalized after a multi-vehicle pile-up on Murfreesboro Pike, involving a school bus (Nashville, TN)

On Wednesday afternoon, 1 person was injured after a multi-vehicle pile-up on Murfreesboro Pike, involving a Metro Nashville Public Schools bus, according to the Nashville Fire Department and the school district.

As per the initial information, the wreck took place in the 2600 block of Murfreesboro Pike, near Rural Hill in which four vehicles were involved. The preliminary reports indicated that the school bus was occupied by no students at the time of the crash.

Reports further said that one person was transported to a nearby hospital in unknown condition. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details are available.

The wreck remains under active review.
