One person was killed and three others, including an infant and a pregnant woman, received critical injuries after a wreck Friday night on State Route 51.
As per the initial information, authorities actively responded to the northbound lanes of SR 51 at Union Hills Drive after getting reports of a three-vehicle pile-up. On arrival, they identified one person requiring extrication.
One person was declared dead at the scene while three others were rushed to trauma centers in serious condition. The injured victims include a man in his 30s, a pregnant woman in her 20s and an infant. The Department of Public Safety is trying to find out the cause that led to the crash. No other details are available.
The wreck remains under review.
