The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash on Sunday morning in Llano.
The accident happened at the Pearblossom (18) Highway and the Antelope (138) Highway intersection at around 1:10 a.m. The collision involved two vehicles.
According to the CHP, one vehicle was T-boned, and a person was declared dead at the scene.
Four people including children were taken directly to hospitals by paramedics who arrived at the scene at 1:15 in the morning, according to a county fire department dispatcher.
It is unsure what caused the crash whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials. There was no additional information at this time.
