Officials reported a rollover crash on I-5 south of Bellingham (Bellingham, WA)

On Tuesday, a rollover crash was reported on Interstate 5 in Bellingham.

As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area of the N Lake Samish interchange in the northbound lanes at around 9:50 a.m. after getting reports of a single-vehicle accident. The preliminary investigation showed that the vehicle came to a stop on its roof on the roadway.

According to the officials, it was a non-injury accident. Reports further stated that there had been a recent localized snow and/or hailstorm event in the area. Officers said that road conditions in the area were slick. Traffic congestion seemed to be happening in both northbound and southbound lanes through the area. No other details are available.

The crash remains under investigation.
